The San Joaquin Valley Manufacturing Alliance (SJVMA) and the Fresno Business Council (FBC) have announced that its 9th Annual “Valley Made” Manufacturing Summit will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fresno Convention Center Exhibit Hall.
The Manufacturing Summit is designed as a workshop and resource expo that celebrates the Valley’s history of innovation in manufacturing while providing resources and networking opportunities that continue to build a well-trained, outstanding workforce.
The Summit promotes cross-sector collaboration aimed at creating a globally competitive environment for the Valley’s manufacturing industry. Employers who are exhibiting or sponsoring the day of the event are invited to participate in the concurrent job fair which is open to the public for those seeking work in the industry.
“The Summit brings together the whole ecosystem of the essential industry of manufacturing and makes sure that they have the proper resources in order to be successful,” said Genelle Taylor Kumpe, CEO of SJVMA. “We’re beyond excited to unveil the ninth edition of our event, brimming with top-tier talent, thought-provoking speakers, and invaluable resources. Here’s to another year of innovation, collaboration, and transformative growth!”
