Target customers in the Central Valley are now able to expedite returns from the comfort of their vehicles with drive-up return options for online and in-store purchases.

The service, which will be fully implemented at all US Target stores, allows guests to return most new, unopened items purchased within 90 days after taking a few short steps through the Target app.

Guests can initiate a return through the Target app prior to heading to the store. After that, it’s as simple as returning the item to a Target team member, receiving order confirmation and a refund following completion of the return.

“By June, returns with drive-up will be available across all Target’s nearly 2,000 locations across the U.S.,” according to a news release from the Minnesota-based retailer. “Target stores are at the center of it all – serving as a launchpad for in-person shopping, same-day fulfillment services and shipping orders as the company continues to invest in its stores-as-hub strategy.”

The free service is an extension of drive-up services first launched in Minnesota in 2017, and made available nationwide by 2019. Since then, additional services, including grocery items and adult beverages have become available as drive-up pick-up items as well.

More information about Target’s drive-up returns and other options are available through the store’s corporate website.
