Stockton entrepreneur Earl “Sticks” Brown is bringing his company, Radiant Ride, to the Fresno area.

Radiant Ride partners with a network of dealerships and mobile restoration technicians to provide an affordable means of repairing unsightly cosmetic damage, according to a news release.

“We observed that new car owners were frustrated when faced with irritating dings, dents, curb rash, windshield chips, carpet stains and the like,” Brown said. Most didn’t know what to do about them.”

Radiant Ride offers a one-stop-shop experience for both routine maintenance and cosmetic repairs. Dealers participate by offering Radiant Ride’s cosmetic service plan as an after-market product, which is similar to a dealer’s repair agreement. Radiant Ride’s plan provides specific levels of prepaid interior and exterior appearance repair and cosmetics services.

Customers may get minor cosmetic repairs done at the same time as routine servicing. Dealerships retail the Radiant Ride cosmetic program for $1,995 to $2,495, depending on coverage details, for up to five years. It is available on all new or newer used vehicles.

Brown already has one dealer partnership in the works for Fresno. Outside the Fresno area, he has dealers in Modesto, Stockton, Sonora, Folsom, Lodi, Oakland and Vacaville.

Jon Peterson, general manager of Folsom Lake Ford, said, “It’s an attractive and convenient high-value solution for owners who prize the appearance of their vehicle as a reflection of who they are.”
