Ruiz Foods has made good on a $1 million pledge to Valley Children’s Hospital, delivering a final $150,000 check at a ceremony today in Madera.

Kim Ruiz Beck, Ruiz Foods chair, presented the final check to Robert Saroyan, Valley Children’s chief development officer, at Valley Children’s Hospital.

The gift was part of a $42 million fundraising drive called Campaign for Children’s, which was completed in 2011.

Valley Children’s Hospital patients and staff celebrated with Ruiz Foods team members with face painting, games and T-shirt painting.
