Fresno Pacific University has received high marks in a recent list of the Best Colleges for Transfer Students.
“Money” magazine designated FPU at No. 11, and is the highest-rated Christian school on the list. “At these 50 colleges, transfer students do as well as — or better than—their peers on campus,” the magazine said.
“These students are a vital part of university life on all FPU campuses,” said Jon Endicott, vice president of enrollment management. “Whether they come to us in their 20s as traditional students or in their 40s with family and workplace responsibilities, we help them make their education possible.”
Transfer students attend all FPU campuses: Merced, North Fresno, Southeast Fresno, Visalia and Bakersfield. Students in bachelor’s degree completion programs — aimed at working adults — are required to have previous college experience. Transfers also made up 36% of FPU’s new students in the Fall 2018 traditional undergraduate program.
