Valley Health Team, Inc., a Federally Qualified Health Center headquartered in San Joaquin, has acquired the health center Alta Family Health Clinic, Inc. in Dinuba, announcing the agreement on Friday.
Valley Health Team’s (VHT’s) acquisition will allow it to extend its full scope of services to existing Alta patients. The transfer process began on Sep. 11, and the clinic will be formally known as Valley Health Team — Dinuba Community Health Center (DCHC). The first day of operations at DCHC was Monday. All Alta employees have been hired by VHT.
In 2017, Alta Family Health Clinic served more than 14,000 patients, primarily from Fresno and Tulare counties.
