The California High-Speed Rail Authority is hosting a community open house in Corcoran next month to discuss its next phase of construction between Fresno and Tulare counties.
The Feb. 8 meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 1000 Van Dorsten Ave. in Corcoran. Information regarding Construction Package (CP) 2-3 will be provided, including design, right of way, and small business and employment opportunities.
CP 2-3 will extend from East American Avenue in Fresno to about one mile north of the Tulare-Kern county line, and will include 36 grade separations.
