Frontier Airlines returned to Fresno Tuesday, launching its new service to Denver.
Fresno Yosemite International Airport is one of dozens of airports the low-cost airline is adding to its routes.
In this case, the airline is offering direct flights between here and Denver International Airport, the headquarters and main hub for Frontier, as well as United and Southwest airlines and the fifth busiest airport in the U.S.
Flights between Denver and Fresno Yosemite will be offered three days a week.
This will be the third time Frontier has entered the Fresno market, previously pulling out twice before, according to published reports.
