Local employers and business owners across the Central Valley are invited to attend a unique networking event designed to support business growth and strengthen regional connections. The Business Services Center, in partnership with Workforce Connection and the Small Business Administration (SBA), will host The Winning Hand: A Business Resource Fair & Poker Run on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Holland Park West, 3855 N. Bryan Ave., Fresno.

The event offers a creative approach to traditional business networking by connecting employers directly with local experts and resource partners who provide services to help businesses start, grow and expand. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in an interactive “Poker Run,” visiting partner booths to collect cards for a chance to win prizes while building valuable connections.

Designed to be both informative and engaging, The Winning Hand brings together Fresno4Biz partners, the SBA and other community organizations in one location. Representatives will be available to share information on workforce development programs, hiring support, training opportunities and additional services aimed at helping businesses remain competitive in today’s evolving economy.

The event is free to attend, making it an accessible opportunity for businesses of all sizes — from small startups to established companies — to explore new partnerships and resources. Participants can expect a welcoming, outdoor environment that encourages conversation, collaboration and relationship-building.

Workforce Connection’s Business Services team continues to support employers and job seekers throughout Fresno County by connecting them with valuable programs and partnerships. By bringing together local expertise and resources, events like The Winning Hand help strengthen the regional economy and ensure businesses have access to the tools needed to remain competitive.

In addition to networking opportunities, the event offers a lively and interactive atmosphere. As highlighted in the event flyer, attendees can expect an “energetic networking experience” that combines practical business resources with a fun, hands-on activity.

Employers interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance at tinyurl.com/TheWinningHand to secure their spot.

Whether seeking new business resources, workforce solutions or community connections, The Winning Hand provides an opportunity for local employers to strengthen their networks and explore new avenues for growth.
