Visalia’s Sycamore Valley Academy has been selected as one of four schools, and one of two K12 schools, for the spring cohort of the P21, the Partnership for 21st Century Learning, Exemplar program.

The program identifies and showcases schools that are equipping students with 21st century skills needed to succeed in college, career and life, according to a news release.

“Now more than ever it is important to celebrate and uplift example of quality teaching and learning,” P21 CEO David Ross said in a statement. “We are eager to offer the education community in-depth analysis on the components that made these schools outstanding through P21 generated case studies.”

Case studies on the P21 Exemplar schools will be released in spring 2017. P21 is currently accepting applications for its 2017-2018 cohort. For more information, visit www.p21.org/apply
