An app that gets lawn care professionals in touch with homeowners will be coming to Fresno.

“After successfully launching in 22 other markets, we are excited to help homeowners in Fresno find reliable, local care,” said Gene Caballero, co-founder of GreenPal.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, GreenPal is an Uber-style app that connects clients to pre-screened and vetted local specialists in lawn work. Homeowners can list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs. Professionals are then able to bid on their properties based on the Google street and aerial images and any other lawn details the homeowner provides. Homeowners are then able to look at ratings, reviews and price to choose their preferred vendor.

Once the vendor has completed the service, the lawn care worker will send a time-stamped photo of the completed work. Homeowners can then pay via the app and set up more appointments.
