Two Fresno women have been named to a 40 Under 40 class for young executives in the automotive industry.
Hilary Haron, 34, owner of Haron Motor Sales Inc., and Ellena Woodhams, 30, compliance and outreach director of Stevens Management Co., were two of just over a dozen women named to the 40 Under 40 class for 2020 by national trade publication “Automotive News.”
Woodhams is the daughter of Fresno Acura Owner TheeAnna Stevens, and has worked as marketing director and compliance and outreach director since 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degree from Fresno State.
Haron is an owner of Downtown Fresno’s Haron Motor Sales with her father and cousin. Her grandfather started the dealership in 1945. Haron has been a fixture at the dealership since she was 11 years old.
In a video produced by “Automotive News” featuring some of the awardees, Haron said it was important to stand by the employees who make the business operate.
“In order to lead, you have to be at the back of the pack,” Haron said.
