A forum featuring all eight candidates running for the Tulare County District 1 supervisorial seat will be held at 5:30 p.m. on May 4 at the Exeter Memorial Building, located at 324 N. Kaweah Ave.
The forum will be moderated by Paul Myers, editor and vice president of the Foothills Sun-Gazette newspaper. The Exeter Republican Women Federated is a partner in hosting the forum. The Valley Voice will pose questions from the audience.
District 1 includes the communities of Exeter, Farmersville, Lemoncove, Lindsay, Strathmore, Three Rivers, east Visalia and portions of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks and Sequoia National Forest.
The District 1 seat is currently held by Allen Ishida, who is not running for re-election.
