The California High-Speed Rail Authority will hold its monthly meeting on May 10 in Bakersfield.
The meeting will take place beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Bakersfield City Hall, located at 1501 Truxton Ave.
Diana Gomez, the Rail Authority’s Central Valley regional director, will provide an update of recent construction activity at the meeting.
Also on the May agenda are items related to staff recommendations for the preferred alternative alignment for the bullet train line in the Bakersfield area and consideration of approval of a mitigation agreement with the City of Wasco.
