On December 10, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, 1033 Fifth Street, Clovis, CA, 93612, the Clovis City Council adopted Ordinance 18-28, R2018-12, to amend and change the official zone map of the City of Clovis in accordance with Sections 9-8.020 and 9-86.010 of the Clovis Municipal Code to reclassify lands to the P-F zone district to bring sites into conformance with the General Plan and confirm the environmental findings.  The purpose of the amendment is to approve a comprehensive rezone to the P-F (Public Facilities) Zone District to bring approximately 887 acres designated Public, Water, and School, into conformance with the General Plan.

The ordinance was adopted with a 4-0-1 with Councilmember Flores absent. A certified copy of the entire ordinance is available in the City Clerk’s office at 1033 5th Street, Clovis, CA, 93612.  559-324-2060 for questions.

CITY OF FOWLER PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

January 3, 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Fowler Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the City Hall Council Chambers at 128 S. 5th Street, Fowler, California to consider the following application:

Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 17-04 (Jag Transportation Inc.): The applicant proposes to utilize the site at 105 West Adams Avenue (APN 343-060-06) for truck parking and truck maintenance within an enclosed building. The 3.21-acre site is located at the southwest corner of North 8th Street and West Adams Avenue and is currently developed with several structures.

The Commission is empowered to grant or deny applications for conditional use permits and to impose reasonable conditions upon the granting of such permits. The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless appealed to the City Council. The Commission requests your participation and the public is welcome to speak at the hearing. If you challenge any action in court, you may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department at, or prior to, the public hearing.

A staff report will be available to the public at least three days prior to the hearing and may be reviewed at Fowler City Hall located at 128 S. 5th Street.  Any questions regarding this notice should be directed to City Planner Dawn E. Marple at 559.834.3113, ext. 122.
