The minor child will not be present in Court unless the minor child so requests or the Court so orders.

2. If you appear without counsel and are unable to afford counsel, the Court must appoint counsel for you, unless you knowingly and intelligently waive the right to be represented by counsel. The Court will not appoint the same counsel to represent both you and your child, HAILEE BARNES.

Family Code § 7860 Procedure for Appointment of Counsel

At the beginning of the proceeding on a petition filed pursuant to this part, counsel shall be appointed as provided in this article. The public defender or private co appointed as counsel pursuant to this article. The same counsel shall not to represent both the child and the child’s parent.

FamilyCode § 7861 Appointment to Protect Interests of Child

The court shall consider whether the interests of the child require the appointment of counsel. If the court finds that the interests of the child require representation by counsel, the court shall appoint counsel to represent the child, whether or not the child is able to afford counsel. The child shall not be present in court unless the child so requests or the court so orders.

On December 3, 2018, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chamber, 1033 Fifth Street, Clovis, CA, 93612, the Clovis City Council will consider a request to amend and change the official zone map of the City of Clovis in accordance with Sections 9-8.020 and 9-86.010 of the Clovis Municipal Code to reclassify lands to the P-F zone district to bring sites into conformance with the General Plan.  The purpose of the proposed amendment is to consider a request to approve a comprehensive rezone to the P-F (Public Facilities) Zone District to bring approximately 887 acres designated Public, Water, and School, into conformance with the General Plan.

CITY OF FOWLER PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING

December 6, 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, the Fowler Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at the City Hall Council Chambers at 128 S. 5th Street, Fowler, California to consider the following application:

Conditional Use Permit (CUP) No. 17-04 (Jag Transportation Inc.): The applicant proposes to utilize the site at 105 West Adams Avenue (APN 343-060-06) for truck parking and truck maintenance within an enclosed building. The 3.21-acre site is located at the southwest corner of North 8th Street and West Adams Avenue and is currently developed with several structures.

The Commission is empowered to grant or deny applications for conditional use permits and to impose reasonable conditions upon the granting of such permits. The decision of the Planning Commission is final unless appealed to the City Council. The Commission requests your participation and the public is welcome to speak at the hearing. If you challenge any action in court, you may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing or in written correspondence delivered to the Community Development Department at, or prior to, the public hearing.

A staff report will be available to the public at least three days prior to the hearing and may be reviewed at Fowler City Hall located at 128 S. 5th Street.  Any questions regarding this notice should be directed to City Planner Dawn E. Marple at 559.834.3113, ext. 122.
