Provost & Pritchard Consulting Group has now taken to the skies to better serve its clients.

The Fresno firm Provost & Pritchard announced Jason Thomas, a geographic information system specialist, has passed the test required by federal regulations to commercially operate an unmanned aircraft system, better known as a drone.

“We are excited to be able to provide these services externally for the benefit of our clients,” said company President Ronald Samuelian.

The Provost & Pritchard aerial photography services include technical integration with land surveying, computer-aided design and drafting, GIS, and overall engineering design projects.

“We are using the technology to document pre-project and post project site conditions, as well as capturing images during construction,” Thomas said.  “The technology is also useful on corridor surveys and  more efficient inspection of less accessible areas.”

Aerial photography services can also be used through photography and video editing to provide clients materials for public outreach or investment presentations.

“Jason is very talented, and has an exceptional eye for photography,” Samuelian said. “Being able to offer aerial photography services not only expands Jason’s professional capabilities, but it adds another capability to list of Provost & Pritchard services for our clients and their projects.”
