Plaza Ventana has announced the closure of its Shaw and Marks Avenue location after 27 years.
“Over the course of 41 years in the restaurant business, we have made the business decision to close locations several times due to the ever-changing landscape and needs of conducting business,” the restaurateurs said on their Facebook page. “Our owner, David Borunda, is 76 and planning to cut back his workload.”
Despite the closure, Plaza Ventana will continue to do business at its second location on 5088 N. Blackstone Ave., just north of Shaw Avenue.
