Bank of America has announced the expansion of its Student Leader program to include two high school seniors from the Fresno/Visalia area.  Student Leaders (#BofAStudentLeaders) offers young people an opportunity to build their workforce and leadership skills through a paid summer internship at a local nonprofit and increase their financial management skills, from building a budget to creating a savings plan.

The two local student leaders are: Ariana Ruiz, a Sanger resident and an incoming senior at University High School; and Taylor Cordoba, a Fresno resident and an incoming senior at Clovis North High School.

The two Student Leaders will work at Boys and Girls Club of Fresno County this summer as they learn the ins-and-outs of running a large non-profit.

The grants fund resources for workforce development and education that help people chart a path to better economic futures, as well as or basic needs that are fundamental to building lifelong stability.
