Johanson Transportation Service in Fresno County announced that its manager of perishable freight, Jeff Mosqueda, recently graduated from the Produce Marketing Association’s Emerging Leaders Program.


TECHNOLOGY

Laureen Mark has joined Paylocity as a human capital management account executive in the Central Valley.  She brings 19 years of experience consulting with small and mid size businesses in the areas of payroll, human resources and retirement plans. Her responsibilities include sharing emerging trends and research impacting payroll and HR departments, as well as streamlining payroll processes and HR administration. AGRICULTURE

The Central Valley is represented in the California Agricultural Leadership Program’s Class 47, recently inaugurated at the Clovis Veterans Memorial District.  Through dynamic seminars during an intensive 17-month program, fellows will study leadership theory, effective communication, motivation, critical and strategic thinking, change management, emotional intelligence, and complex social and cultural issues. Local participants include: Casey Creamer, Fresno; Randi Gwilliam, Tulare; Tucker Knutz, Lemoore; Darrin Monteiro, Hanford; and Brad Reinhart, Hanford.

REAL ESTATE

EXIT Realty Consultants in Fresno County would like to welcome real estate agent Willie Henderson to its Fresno branch. Willie just moved to the Fresno area. Realtor Eric Vanhees is also a newcomer to the Fresno branch.

EDUCATION

The Fresno County Office of Education, in partnership with the Educational Employees Credit Union, hosted the annual Educator of the Year Awards Ceremony on Oct. 27 at the William Saroyan Theatre. The winners of the School Employee and Teacher categories have the opportunity to apply for the California Department of Education awards in 2017. School Employee of the Year is Danny Alberty, Fresno Unified School District – Alberty is a campus assistant at Edison High School. He has worked in education for 30 years. Administrator of the Year is Bob Kampf, Clovis Unified School District – Kampf is director of supplemental services at Clovis Unified School District. He has worked in education for 36 years. Teacher of the Year is Jacqueline Ruiz, Fresno Unified School District – Ruiz is a lead chemistry teacher, International Baccalaureate program environmental systems teacher and pep and cheer director at Fresno High School. She has been a teacher for five years.

SERVICE CLUBS

The Rotary Club of Fresno is pleased to welcome three new members. Perry Eggleston is a senior manager at SP+Corporation. He has over 20 years of parking and public safety expertise in the higher education and private sectors including special event operations, transportation, and parking management. Amanda Patterson is the compliance officer at Valley Children’s Healthcare. Prior to Valley Children’s she was an associate attorney at Fishman Larsen Goldring and Zeitler. Wayne Picard specializes and consults in marketing communications and promotions and comes to Fresno from Boston, Massachusetts. His one daughter, Chelsea lives here in Fresno County and is a teacher/leadership director.
