The Fresno Rescue Mission board of directors has appointed Don Eskes as new CEO effective June 6. Eskes previously directed community partnerships for the Fresno Rescue Mission.


CONSTRUCTION

Janel Showers, Fresno, was recently honored for 10 years of service with McCaffrey Homes, where she works as service manager and executive assistant.  Also honored for their service were Sheryl O’Neal and Tina Akin, both community representatives celebrating their five-year anniversary with McCaffrey Homes.

MANUFACTURING

Betts Co. in Fresno, a leading manufacturing of springs and heavy-duty transportation products, announced the appointment of Dan Flores as the company’s new controller. Flores has more than 12 years of accounting, purchasing and administration experience. In his new role at Betts Company, Flores will manage the finance department, general ledger, audits, and cost and account trade.

MEDIA & MARKETING

Fresno’s JP Marketing has been named an official Google Partner. Media buyers Mia Villarreal and Sammy Norton also earned individual certification in search advertising through Google AdWords. To become certified, candidate agencies must pass a rigorous certification exam to exhibit high proficiency in areas such as optimization, bid management, keywords and format.  

BANKING

Bank of America have announced the addition of Steven Stone, home loans manager. Stone is a 17-year veteran of the mortgage industry with over 10 years of management experience.  He is responsible for the residential mortgage production of the bank in the Central Valley from Fresno south to Bakersfield and is actively recruiting to expand the number of mortgage loan officers at the bank.

FINANCE

De Young Mortgage, Inc., a local home lender, announced Brandon De Young, current executive of the company, has been named President. Current President and (CEO) Jerry De Young will retain his executive position as CEO. This transition of leadership is that of a natural evolution, as Brandon has taken on more responsibility and leadership since joining De Young Mortgage in its inaugural year.
