WiZiX Technology Group, Inc., a regional office technology dealer, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new location in Fresno.

Present at the ribbon cutting ceremony was WiZiX employees and ambassadors from the Fresno Chamber of Commerce, which honored the opening of their new 20,000 square foot office.

Located on 4312 N. Selland Ave. in northwest Fresno, WiZiX Technology Group, Inc, is a new company that was founded by Gary Johnson in October 2017.

Johnson previously owned Zoom Imaging Solutions, Inc, until he sold it to Global-Imaging Systems, a Xerox company, in 2012.

After opening WiZiX, Johnson acquired two office equipment dealers, Stanton Office Machines, A Lanier dealer based in Fresno, and Scott Technology Group of Sacramento, a Savin dealer.

WiZiX will be selling Savin and Lanier products, and is also an authorized dealer for Toshiba.

“It’s a really attractive business,” WiZiX Service Manager Patrick McNulty said. “We are helping other business grow. So, your growth is based on growth of the businesses around you, so there is a community feeling about it.”

WiZix larger clients are mostly local school districts, with their biggest customer being Porterville Unified.

McNulty said that there are already talks to expand to a third and fourth location in the near future, possibly one in the Bay Area.
