Border Hop Brewing Co., LLC, has officially signed a lease at 721 Broadway St. in the South Stadium district of Downtown Fresno.

The new brewery will occupy about 12,000 square feet and feature an indoor tasting room as well as an outdoor beer garden.

According to the company’s social media accounts, the brewery is set to open by October.

Border Hop Brewing will join an ever-expanding list of Downtown Fresno breweries making the area a hotspot for craft beer.

Last year, Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company signed papers to acquire a 14,000 square-foot Amvets building for future expansion next to its current brewery and beer garden. New ownership also took charge of Full Circle Brewing Co., with plans to revamp the long-standing brewery’s menu and space.

Downtown Fresno will also soon welcome Sanger-based brewer House of Pendragon, which is opening a restaurant and tasting room in conjunction with Visalia-based Mediterranean restaurant and pub, Pita Kabob.
