Mercedes-Benz of Fresno was recently named “Best Place to Work” by Mercedes-Benz USA.

The local dealership is among 12 Mercedes-Benz dealers nationwide to receive the award, which is based on the 2015 Dealer Employer Engagement Survey. Employees share anonymously how they are treated by management and their belief in the mission of the dealership’s leaders.

According to the survey, Mercedes-Benz of Fresno scored among the top 5 percent of the entire dealer network.

The “Best Place to Work” award was hand-delivered to Mercedes-Benz of Fresno owners Scott and Katie Biehl by Bob Yeatman, general manager of the Western Region MBUSA.

“This is the most gratifying moment in my 30 years in the automotive business. To know that our people love their work, love our customers and are proud enough to tell the world about it, is all we could ever hope for,” Scott Biehl said. “In fact, our team works as if this is their business, and that alone is the best assurance that our customers will want to come back.”

The Biehls have owned Mercedes-Benz of Fresno since 2011 and employ more than 100 people at the dealership.

In addition to the company recognition, Mercedes-Benz of Fresno was recently given the 2016 Consumer Satisfaction Award from DealerRater. The award is given to the top 10 percent of U.S. new car dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
