Almost a year after filming wrapped up last summer, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” this weekend will air its episode chronicling construction of a house in Clovis.

Last year, De Young Properties had just one week to complete the construction on a new house for the family of Cal Fire Capt. Nicholas Reeder, a widowed father with three daughters. Reeder’s wife, Amanda Sawyer, passed away in 2018 after giving birth to twins.

“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” also reached out to the De Young family business for the original series in 2009.

The show will air on HGTV with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, with the Clovis episode airing at 8:00 p.m. PST.
