In order to better serve its patients, Kaweah Delta Medical Center will unveil a new electronic health records system on Tuesday.

“This system will help us better communicate as a team about your health care needs so we can provide the best care for you,” said Gary Herbst, Kaweah Delta’s CEO, “As with all new things, we expect some hiccups along the way. We apologize for any delays as we learn this new system. It is important that we make sure your information is complete and accurate so that we can provide you with the highest level of care.”

Kaweah Delta has partnered with Cerner, a leading health care information company, to bring the “KD*Hub” system to the community. With it, Kaweah Delta patients will also receive access to a new patient portal called, “MyHealth Kaweah Delta” at their next visit, along with a simplified billing process.

Community members are encouraged to ensure that their information is complete and accurate during the transition. Patients are also being asked to share their medication form with their providers, available for download at www.kaweahdelta.org/medform, which helps track medications.
