The interim position will become effective on or about March 31 after current CEO Lindsay Mann’s departure to serve as a mission president for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico.
Witt/Kieffer, a national recruiting firm, has been retained to identify CEO candidates. The search is expected to take several months.
As part of the hiring process, the board will be holding informational public hearings to gather input from members of the community about what the district should be looking for in a new CEO.
Rayner has a bachelor’s in social science from Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania and a MBA in hospital administration from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. He is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems.
