Lemoore is adding another grocery retailer to its shelves, and the first guests will have a chance to get their shopping list free-of-charge.

Grocery Outlet at 1160 N. Lemoore Ave. will hold its grand opening Aug. 29.

But be sure to get their early, because beginning at 8:55 a.m., the first 200 customers inside of the store will receive a gift card ranging in value between $5 and $200, according to a press release from the company. And starting that day continuing through Sept. 26, customers can also enter for a chance to win free groceries for one year.

At the ceremony, the Emeryville-based retailer will present a $1,500 check to New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch, a horse ranch that provides therapy for trauma survivors through “equine-assisted therapy,” the press release stated.

Independent operators Karin and David McKinney will be on hand for the ceremony.

Grocery Outlet operates 300 stores throughout California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Washington.
