In the quest to get the remaining 50% of the U.S. population vaccinated against Covid-19, the latest local incentive has been unveiled — food truck fare.

Fresno Street Eats has partnered with the Fresno County Health Department to offer vaccinations at its six food truck gatherings this week. When someone gets a shot, they also get a $10 meal voucher good at any Fresno Street Eats food truck at that location.

The program runs Wednesday through Saturday at these six locations:

—Wednesday: 5-8p Shaw & McCall (at Loma Vista Church)

— Thursday: 5-8p at Granville-Teague Community Center

— Thursday: 6-9p at Brewery District ArtHop (Fulton Street at Inyo)

— Friday: 5-8p at Peoples Church

— Friday: 6-10p at Simonian Farms

— Saturday: 4-8p at Sierra Vista Mall

There’s no pre-registration necessary; walk-ups are welcome, according to a news release. The vaccines will be administered by Fresno County-approved clinical partners.
