Fresno-based Yrulegui & Roberts workers’ compensation defense law firm has opened a new office in Bakersfield.

Joining Yrulegui & Roberts at its new Bakersfield location is John A. Robinson, formerly of Hannah, Brophy LLP in Bakersfield.

“Yrulegui & Roberts has been appearing in Bakersfield for over 35 years, but always coming from Fresno,” said Yrulegui & Roberts partner Joe Yrulegui, whose father started the firm in 1978. “So we were very excited to begin this new phase of expansion for Yrulegui & Roberts with such a strong and capable attorney like John Robinson.  He’s going to add a new level of experience and service for our clients.”

Steve Roberts, a named partner, said the Bakersfield office is expected to grow rapidly.

“The addition of John Robinson is just the start of what we plan to accomplish in this important and vibrant region. Yrulegui & Roberts intends for the office to satisfy a full range of client needs.” Roberts said. “We are excited to start servicing our South Valley clients from this office.”
