Central Valley Target shoppers no longer have to leave the couch for grocery or household goods beginning today.

Through the delivery company Shipt, members can have same-day delivery with no added fees for orders over $35 from any Target in Fresno, Bakersfield, Merced and the Visalia-Porterville area.

Modesto, Sacramento and Stockton were added on Oct. 4. Shipt membership costs $99 a year.

“Shipt’s expansion throughout California has brought the convenience of fresh groceries and household necessities to homes throughout the state, and we look forward to making the service available to even more California residents,” said Bill Smith, founder and CEO of Shipt. “Through our app, our members have access to everything they need, when they need it, right at their fingertips. Looking ahead, Shipt will continue to expand and bring same-day delivery to a growing number of households across the country.

The entry of Target into the delivery game comes after it purchased Birmingham, Alabama-based Shipt for $550 million cash, according to Bloomberg News. Shipt also has an office in San Francisco.
