Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin will officially release the 2016 Point-In-Time count of the area homeless population on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Chukchansi Park.

During the presentation, the mayor, according to a press release issued by the City, will also announce an updated plan to end homelessness in Fresno over the next three years.

Fresno County Supervisor Buddy Mendes and representatives from local agencies in the Fresno Madera Continuum of Care will join Mayor Swearengin during the presentation.

At the event, Fresno Grizzlies General Manager Derek Franks will also announce details regarding the Grizzlies planned “Good Karma Night,” which will be held at the ballpark on June 24 in support of Fresno First Steps Home, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness in Fresno.
