All seating is reserved\, 21 + admission\, $41 to $51 total ticket price \nA protégé of Bo Diddley\, Loomis met the icon backstage at the age of 16 at Houston’s famed venue\, Rockefeller’s. Before the night was over\, Loomis was onstage playing guitar with the legend. Diddley quickly became a friend\, mentor\, collaborator\, and supporter\, appearing on two of Loomis’ albums and presenting a cherished red guitar that he still plays. \nDescribed by Blues Blast Magazine as “a non-stop turbo of power”\, Loomis’ energetic\, get-in-with–the-crowd antics are infectious. The swaying and clapping are just as he envisioned. \n“Being comfortable on stage is something that comes completely natural to me\,” he says. “I feel joy when I play music\, and it moves me. It moves my body. I learned long ago that whenever music comes from you\, from deep inside your soul and from the right place\, people will feel that on a deeper level and might not even know what’s going on inside themselves. I enjoy engaging the crowd and feel a show should be an interactive experience.”

SUMMARY:Wish kids\, a golf phenom\, big name sponsors\, and a sold-out field headline 3rd Annual Hope Open
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to tee it up at the 3rd annual Hope Open Golf Tournament benefitting local Make-A-Wish kids battling critical illnesses. We have a sold-out field of golfers who will be treated to inspirational stories they helped create from our Wish Kids alumni\, for a day filled with hope featuring the exclusive Lexus Champions for Charity. Including Jace\, whose wish to go to his favorite theme park in Orlando became reality. \nOur friends at Dragonfly golf course are once again hosting the tournament that begins with lunch at noon and then a shotgun at 1 PM. The field will also be greeted by golf phenom\, Asterisk Talley from the North Valley. Talley ranks #11 in the world and as the top amateur in the United States\, will be stationed on the course for teams to gain a better score by using her tee shot. Recently\, Talley led Team USA to the Junior Ryder Cup Championship in New York. \nThe Hope Open has raised over $150\,000 in just two years of the tournament. The community comes together knowing that when a wish is granted\, a child replaces fear with confidence\, sadness with joy\, and anxiety with hope. Every child deserves a childhood. The Hope Open helps to grant wishes for kids today so they can look forward to tomorrow.
