Dutch Bros is expanding its capacity and stores in Fresno, with a new location at Palm and Herndon avenues. The location at Bullard and West avenues in this file photo had to be relocated because of the traffic volume generated by the coffee stand.

It appears one of Fresno’s favorite coffee shops isn’t stopping at one new store, with plans for locations at Manchester Center and northwest Fresno.
This week Commercial Retail Associates announced a lease for a roughly 2,000 square foot space for Dutch Bros Coffee at Herndon and Brawley avenues.
That would place the Oregon-based coffee franchise in the same area as Tractor Supply Co. and Goodguys Tire Shop. It will also be near the new Fresno headquarters of United Health Centers currently under construction.
No opening date, or whether it would even be a retail location, were announced.
In comparison, the new Dutch Bros location at Palm and Herndon avenues is around 1,600 square feet. Opened in November 2018, that location has a longer-than-most drive thru and an indoor dining space. Brent and Genesis Wilson are the local franchises who currently operate six locations. They were unavailable to comment for this story.
A Clovis location at Fowler and Herndon avenues is in the works, according to a Fresno Bee report from December 2018.
Last year, SOMAM, Inc., a Fresno architecture and engineering firm, filed with the City of Fresno on behalf of Dutch Bros for a 960 square foot drive-thru at Manchester Center, near the corner of Blackstone and Shields avenues.
The drive-thru would be open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days week, according to documents filed with the city.
