The Kmart in Clovis will be closed by November.

KMPH Fox 26 first reported the news.

Sears Holdings announced that the department store at 1075 Shaw Ave., across the street from Sierra Vista Mall, was no longer profitable. The news comes along with another round of closings by the troubled corporation, including 13 Kmarts and 33 Sears stores across the country.

The Clovis space is about 95,000 square feet, according to a online real estate listing.

A Kmart location in Kingsburg was shuttered last year.

Liquidation sales will begin as early as August 30, according to the announcement.

The number of people working there was not immediately available.
