The Central Valley Community Foundation has welcomed a new director of philanthropy to the organization.

On Tuesday, the organization announced that Hannah Johnson McAbee would fill in the role, helping local donors accomplish their philanthropic goals and connect them with CVCF’s mission-driven work.

“Her professional experience and personal dedication to the Central Valley make her a perfect addition to our team,” said Ashley Swearengin, president and CEO of CVCF. “Hannah will help CVCF create a lasting and positive impact in our region.”

A native of Laton, Johnson McAbee studied business administration at Fresno State. She was previously the marking and communications manager for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. She then served as the senior development officer for the Valley Children’s Hospital Foundation.

“I’m excited to join CVCF and work with its hundreds of donors and partners to build a community that future generations deserve,” she said.
