Phil Lempert, the “SupermarketGuru” who made an appearance at this year’s Fresno Food Expo, is seeking food industry rising stars under 30 years old for his “30 Under 30” program.

“We are looking to feature some of the country’s brightest, most innovative rising stars in the food industry that are under 30 years old,” Lempert said in a call for nominations. “We need your help in finding these game changers.”

Lempert is an influential voice in consumer trend analysis, and is widely known for appearances on NBC News’ Today show, Dr. Oz, The Oprah Winfrey Show and 20/20. He delivered the keynote address for the Fresno Food Expo in July.

The SupermarketGuru’s 30 Under 30 seeks young adults in the food industry, including stars in the retail world, chefs, entrepreneurs, dietitians, butchers, food manufacturers, food science and technology leaders and anyone else in any field related to food.

Nominations will be accepted through the remainder of the year, and can be emailed to sally@supermarketguru.com. Include the nominee’s name, a short description of their work and any social media or web links.
