Arise Solar has donated $27,900 raised during its 6th annual Golf for a Wish Tournament last May to Make-A-Wish Central California.

The funds will be used to grant Marissa, a local child going through kidney failure, her wish to go to Disneyland.

All donations were acquired through the help of local businesses and individuals who helped sponsor the tournament, along with the generosity of the players who bid on raffle prizes and offered additional donations.

“Arise Solar is honored to share in the joy of providing once in a lifetime wishes to children who would not otherwise be able to experience such an event,” Arise Solar CEO Glenn Siemens said in a statement.

“We would like to thank those that participate in our annual Golf for a Wish Tournament; from the volunteers who man the tables and greens, to the vendors who donate unselfishly, and especially to the players and business owners who get to witness giving first hand.”
