The Board of Directors of Kings View Behavioral Health Systems received notice last month of current CEO Leon Hoover’s plans to retire at the end of the year.

“I will miss the many relationships I created over the years, as well as miss being involved in the inspiring and meaningful work done by Kings View,” Leon said. “I assured the Board I will be fully committed and engaged until the new CEO is in place.”

Hoover has led the company for ten years and during this time has seen year on year growth for Kings View, along with the development of new products and services. Kings View is based in Fresno and has six service lines serving 36,000 people in 27 counties throughout California. Kings View currently has more than 400 employees on its roster.

It’s service lines include mental health, youth skills, health information support and drug and alcohol services. It has nearly two dozen facilities in Fresno, Kings, Tulare and Madera counties and as far north as Redding.

The Board of Directors has appointed a search committee headed by David Singh, vice-chair of the Board. MHS Consulting has been recruited to assist in the search and selection process.
