A native of Princeton, New Jersey, Peres started her television career interning for MTV Networks at Nickelodeon. She also served as production assistant at WCAU-TV in Philadelphia and reporter for WZBN-TV in New Jersey before taking a job with KFSN in Fresno. She served as the station’s education reporter starting in 2014.
