ENERGY

The City of Kerman selected Borrego Solar of San Diego to build a nearly 500 kilowatt photovoltaic solar system at its newly expanded wastewater treatment plant. Borrego Solar has built photovoltaic systems totaling more than 20 megawatts of power for municipalities and water districts throughout the country.
Through a power purchase agreement with the city, the company will build, own and maintain the 487-kilowatt, sun-tracking system over the next 20 years.
