Golden Dragons pilots to visit Children’s Hospital

Members of the U.S. Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 192, also known as “The World Famous Golden Dragons,” will visit Children’s Hospital Central California Friday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., the hospital said in a release.
The F/A-18C Hornet fighter squadron is stationed at Naval Air Station Lemoore. Commander Ryan Bernacchi heads the team that will visit Children’s.
Pilots will visit patient units and the Child Life Classroom.
The pilots will visit inpatients and hand out special Navy Air patches, toy Hornet airplanes and more. They will also see patients in the Child Life Classroom where they will play a DVD featuring their jets, demonstrate night vision goggles and display examples of their flight gear.
Children’s Hospital Central California is located at 9300 Valley Children's Place in Madera.
