Azteca 39 honored by Hispanic chamber

Local Spanish programming television station Azteca America 39 will be honored as the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year at its annual gala on March 9 in Fresno.
The station has provided more than $350,000 worth of air time to the chamber since the business relationship began.
"Azteca America 39's committment is a great example of our chamber supporting our mission which is to create, maintain and improve a favorable business environment which strengthens the financial position of our members and contributes to the socioeconomic well being of the community" said Mark Lozada, president of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in a release.
Azteca’s general sales manager Jose Arreguin and marketing director Melly Saldana have both spent time on the chamber’s board of directors.
“Each of them have been outstanding board members and represent Azteca America well " said John Hernandez, CEO of the Central California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, in a release.
The festivities will be held at the University Square Hotel, located at 4961 Cedar Ave. The cost is $70 for CCHCC members and $80 for non-members. The reception begins at 6 p.m. and the program will start at 7:30 p.m.
