Insurance broker opens Fresno office

Edgewood Partners Insurance CenterEdgewood Partners Insurance Center, a fast-growing retail property, casualty and employee benefit insurance brokerage, opened a new office in Fresno this week.

The fifth largest privately-held broker in California, the firm serves a variety of industries from construction, health care and real estate to agriculture, energy and trucking.

The Fresno office is located 8050 N. Palm Ave., Ste. 300. The office can be reached at 855-238-EPIC (3742).

Patrick McCaleb and Phil Grove, principals in the new office, have a combined 60 years of experience in the insurance industry. Both hail from the Fresno area.

"After a number of years in this industry, I wanted to put fun back into the business and be able to serve my clients even more effectively," said Grove in a press release. "I am truly excited to be a part of EPIC's growing, successful team here in Fresno."

EPIC, founded in 2007, has eight offices throughout California, including its flagship branch in San Francisco.

The company, which provides insurance brokerage and consultation services for both commercial and personal clients, ranked the 48th largest broker of U.S. business by Business Insurance Magazine in 2010.
