The promotional poster for the 2010 World Ag Expo, which begins tomorrow in Tulare, has won a regional top prize from the National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) and now goes on to compete at the national level.The poster was awarded a Best of NAMA Region 1 First Place award and will compete at the national level on April 21-23 during NAMA’s 2010 Agri-Marketing Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. NAMA’s Region 1 includes seven Western states. They illustrate the World Ag Expo’s 2010 theme, “Powering Global Agriculture,” and were created by The Lockwood Agency in collaboration with Steven Knudsen, Director of Communications for the International Agri-Center. NAMA is the nation's largest professional association for professionals in marketing and agribusiness. The 43rd annual World Ag Expo 2010, powering global agriculture, will run February 9 to 11 at the International Agri-Center show grounds in Tulare. An estimated 100,000 visitors from 67 countries are expected to attend World Ag Expo this year. The expo is the largest annual agricultural show of its kind with 1,600 exhibitors displyaing cutting-edge agricultural technology and equipment on 2.6 million square feet of show grounds. |
